Screw Motion is the first chapter of the "Motionz" trilogy: a series of anti-fidelity sound expressions, weird movements and spastic paths. The music sounds like when someone stumbles in his own steps or repeats the same non-actions. Multidirectional fragmented music like jerking, screwing, mongoloid agency, fake jumping.

After the hot incipit "On a warm sssand", developed between digital percussion and stupid chords, the music starts to sound darker and redundant in "S-stumbled" between low frequencies, loops and reverse. The last track "Frrromo" is a short, unnecessarily-tragic story of rough movements and wrong falls. The very last track is "On a warm sssand" in its archaeological remix edited by Rainbow Island, neo-psychedelic-postworld-band.
The context of this rework is a crazy dig in the nowhere desert, the singer (Lou Pappagallo) screams exasperated directions where to dig. Under the sun, amidst the wind and mysterious melodies, anxiety and sandstorms, they continue their labor until they reach a turning point: Rainbow Island are sucked into a portal for the other-when discovered while digging... they are probably now floating and fighting the multitenebra in the ILLMATRIX (sic!).

The first four releases of Riforma (Batch#1) are accompanied by the covers by Christopher Vega, who describes this one as follows: "The drawing, traced by the rhythms of metallic sounds, is the icon of the musical motif and like an ideogram represents the idea through the sign. The image as a mirror of sound is transformed symmetrically to it, emphasizing the center of the composition as a junction between what we see and hear".

Screw Motion and the future "Motionz" trilogy are the new works by Altrimenti after the first releases between 2018 and 2019. In the meantime he has carried on a series of naive side projects such as the plunderphonics shitty music and performances SOUNDOF??? REPUBBLICA and the slow ambient duo for tape music Altrimenti La Fin.
